Site Manager

The job location is our office address, this vacancy could be anywhere in Scotland.

Requirements and Skills:

To be suitable for the position you must have:

– 3 and 6- year Construction management experience. Preferably in non-residential buildings working as a Site Manager
– Experience of structural metal framework for industrial warehouses
– Used to working at tight deadlines and busy environments
– Knowledgeable about quality testing of work and materials.
– Experience of drawing up Risk Assessment and Method Statement throughout the life of the project
– Proactive professional accustomed to liaising with clients and subcontractors
– Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times
– CSCS/SMSTS/ First aider card holder. Temporary works coordinator course would be a plus
– Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Role and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager you will lead and manage a project team on site to successfully deliver transmission projects to cost, exacting standards and to timescales during the construction phases. You will also manage all functions of projects on site including scope, cost, schedule, health and safety, documentation as well as quality and risk.

You should also be confident in formulating detailed plant and installation specifications and you will require a good knowledge of plant equipment standards and specifications for transmission projects.

You should display excellent communication skills and be comfortable coordinating with other engineering disciplines.
