Showroom Manager

Salary: £22.8 – £26.4 per hour

Uncapped commission – Oldest tile manufacturer in the world reveals brand new flagship store and needs you as Showroom Manager to lead it…..

150 years in the making, the oldest and most respected tile manufacturer in the world is opening a brand new flagship store. 

In the heart of Alderley Edge, an area famous for its affluence and expensive houses, your perfect clients are literally at your doorstep ready to buy. 

If you’re a people person this role is perfect. You’ll have the opportunity to throw glamorous events and wine and dine some very highbrow customers, and with an uncapped commission, the earning potential is truly immense! 

As Showroom Manager you will work closely with the Commercial Director, Marketing Managers and Merchandising team to put plans in place to take the business to the next level. 

As Showroom Manager, you’ll report directly to the board of directors, the reigns have been passed on to the younger generation, headed up by the Managing Director, these guys have a vision and appetite to bring the business and it’s brand into the 21st century.

You’ll be someone who’s organised, target driven and proactive in your approach. 

From helping to design the immaculate store itself, to taking ownership of the merchandising and displays and even hand picking 3 top performers who report directly to you – here you have autonomy and free reign.

This role is only for someone with a strong background in commercial/sales activities. You’ll need a commercial mindset and have experience with a successful sales team whilst providing exceptional customer service – these guys have an incredible reputation to uphold. 

You won’t need to sell the brand, it sells itself. When you’ve been around for as long as these guys… like Coke Cola, Harley-Davidson and Kellogg’s.. You build superfans. 

In addition to the Sales function of the business as Showroom Manager you will be:

· Managing the showroom team – holidays, performance, absence, training and engagement (with support from HR)

· Demonstrating excellent product knowledge and taking ownership of the customer service experience

· Taking responsibility of being the key holder on site

· Managing and overseeing corporate customer events in the showroom
