UBT are proudly working with a growing family SME business who are looking to expand their operations across the UK. They are a trust pilot 5 star business providing excellent quality, fantastic customer service and are now opening a new showroom which will cater for clients around the greater London area. With this brand new exciting showroom, the company are looking to recruit a Showroom Manager who will be a pivotal addition to the company. The Showroom manager will be client facing, assisting customers in an appointment only setting to help guide them through appropriate product selection to fit for their individually catered needs. This unique opportunity would best suit a candidate from the retail sector where quality, service is of paramount importance delivered with passion going the extra mile. In return they are offering a generous salary along with some excellent benefits and a Monday to Friday working week.

Key duties and responsibilities….

  • Manage customer sales visits and effectively close sales
  • Report to the sales manager weekly on sales performance
  • Ensure that the showroom is maintained to an excellent standard to provide a fantastic customer experience
  • Assist and support the customer with their visit providing advice on the best product that will suit their individual needs (training will be provided on all products)
  • Make phone calls, virtual sales meetings and when required offsite visits
  • Attend events/exhibitions to help grow the brand
  • Manage the sale process through to completion including taking payments and going through finance options
  • Convert at least 80% of showroom visits to sales
  • Become a brand ambassador
  • Assist in the future recruitment of additional staff and manage operations
  • Deal with any facility maintenance issue that may arise

Requirements

  • Self motivated individual
  • Proven customer service/sales excellence
  • Confident and presentable as you will be representing a quality reputable brand
  • Organised, effective and ability to manage time/balance a varied workload
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Hands on and practical
  • Team player – integrates well with the head office sales team
  • Ability to build trust/rapport and empathy whilst having a sales focus

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm (no weekends)
