Salary: £26,000 per year
Centric Recruitment are currently recruiting for shop assistants to work with our client, based in the Cwmbran area.
The main role of the job will setting up and stocking the shop prior to opening, as well as general shop duties – tills, restocking, customer help/advice.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in the setting up and initial stocking of shop
– Sorting stock into categories
– Operating tills, cash handling and card transactions
– Complying with the rota set out for weekly staffing – weekend availability essential
– Ensuring your area of responsibility is maintained to the required standard with stock, presentation and cleanliness
– Actively encourage customers to buy products withing the clearance line
– Restock product as and when required
– Deal with any customer complaints/returns and actively encourage them to repurchase goods
Previous retail experience is essential for this position
