Shop Assistant

• Sessional Charity Shop Assistant – Zero Hours Contract
• Hours will be as and when required by the needs of the business. Over 7 days a week.
• Salary: £26,000per year.
• Location: Cockermouth Shop. 21 Main Street, Cockermouth, Cumbria. Staff parking onsite.

We are looking for a dedicated Shop Assistant in our busy Cockermouth shop, to ensure that the shop stay’s open full trading hours and well stocked in the absence of the Shop Manager. You will also be driving productivity and leading on key shop tasks, like sorting donations, replenishing stock, shop displays and working the till.

We are looking for someone who has ideally worked in the Retail environment before and can bring new ideas to the table.

You will be working closely with your Shop Manager to make the shop a success, and build links in the local community. You will need to be confident at working with people from different backgrounds creating a welcoming and positive experience for all of our staff, volunteers and supporters.
