Salary: £45,600 – £48,000 per year
WB Power Services is a leading power generation specialist that provides installation, maintenance, sales and hire to customers across the UK. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Service Manager to join the team and help cement, and further the department growth. This role is crucial to our business and will see you leading a national team of highly skilled engineers and support staff, delivering the highest standards in work ethic, performance, and customer centric service.
We are looking for someone who can:
* Lead our diesel field service team, ensuring efficiency and capacity are sufficient for business needs and growth
* Work to WB Power Services Ltd procedures, using our own bespoke systems in accordance with all quality accreditations ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
* Ensure that key performance indicators are met for customers, including, PPM completion and uptime.
* Regularly audit works being done to ensure all standards are met and that work is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly
* Conduct regular performance reviews ensuring that team members meet their full potential
* Resolve and monitor team issues and customer complaints, define patterns and work to mitigate recurrences
* Provide technical support and advise to the team and our customers where required
* Represent the team/department at internal and external meetings
What you will need to succeed:
* Be a motivating people manager, ideally with experience of managing service teams
* Be able to build strong relationships with internal and external customers
* Technical competence in the power generation industry
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Computer skills
* Passion and drive
