Senior support worker required for 10 bedded residential learning disability unit based in Worthing.

Working for a young dynamic company with a philosophy of care based on the principal of ‘supporting independence’ by helping clients with Learning Disabilities achieve their full potential.

Service is for 10 adults who have functioning learning disabilities such as autism,. Service users are active and there is a high level of activity planning and community involvement as part of the role.

You must have a passion and enthusiasm for working in learning disability care and also have the ability to lead small teams of support workers in a well set residential environment.

Experience in a senior or supervisory role is essential as well as the ability to give direction and guidance to support worker staff.

The unit is centrally located close to local bus routes and train station, also the role pays above the average for the local area.

You must have the NVQ 3 qualification and also at least 2 years experience working in the care industry.
