Salary: £26,000 per year
Registered Care Home based in Dorchester, provide Support and Care to Learning Disability, Challenging Behaviour & Mental Health service users.
Your role will be to provide support either 1to1 or 2to1 on a daily basis to each service user, emotionally and physically, support them to integrate with others and in the community and also support them in activities and provide them personal care when required. You will make sure that the service users Privacy, Dignity, Choice & Independence is given to them.
Ideal applicants will have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or a Senior Carer with learning Disability or Mental Health or Challenging Behaviour or Dementia experience. Other applicants with solid Support/Care experience in other fields will be considered on merit. NVQ2 or NVQ3 is desirable
You must be caring, kind, reliable, calm with patience to work with the service users.
