The role is based in Baldock Manor Hospital, the flagship site of Nouvita Healthcare and it is our 40-bed mental health hospital in north Hertfordshire, offering a comprehensive and person-centred range of treatments in locked PICU and rehabilitation wards for women and men with mental illness, personality disorders and complex physical health needs.
What the role is about
* The role of Senior Support Worker will provide support to our service users and MDT (multidisciplinary team) at Baldock Manor hospital.
* The role is a permanent position, which will involve a combination of long day or night shifts, typically with some shorter days of 9 am to 5 pm*
* You’ll earn £11.50 an hour for weekday shifts and £12.65 an hour for weekend shifts (£23,132 per annum).
We’re looking for someone who…
* Is experienced working with adults who present with complex mental health issues, within an inpatient setting.
* Has an understanding of different mental health conditions including personality disorders and psychotic illnesses
* Is energetic, motivated and wants to make a positive contribution to our hospital and make a difference to the lives of those in our care
