Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year
Our client is a leading company providing specialist software and engineering consultancy to the water and environmental management industries.
The company is a recognised leader and innovator in its principal areas of business namely:
Asset management planning
Water resources and supply optimisation
Leakage management
UK water industry research
They now require
Software testers
They wish to appoint a senior software tester to join their busy team. The work involves:
Designing software test programmes
Managing a small team of software testers
Liaising with clients
Designing software test programmes

Liaising with clients
Reporting to the software development manager
Designing and carrying out tests (see junior/graduate role)
Experience: you should have the following:
Minimum of 3 years experience of software testing
Ability to demonstrate understanding of software testing techniques
A good degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering, maths, science or engineering
Useful additional experience would include:
Agile (Scrum) development methodology Visual Studio Team System (TFS)
Testing of complex modelling systems Testing of Optimisers
Experience working in a testing and Quality Assurance (QA) function for commercial applications Test Automation experience
