Full Stack Software Developer – Extensive Remote

Salary: £48,000 – £66,000 per year

Synchro are working with a unique, successful and growing online business based in Lichfield. To support their ongoing success and to help them build for an exciting future, we are recruiting on their behalf for a Full Stack Software Developer.

We are seeking a candidate with a range of skills and experience across modern software development languages and technologies. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with strong experience of ReactJS and NodeJS. You will have involvement on building and adding additional technical capability to as well as improving and maintaining the existing platform. It is essential that you have experience of building basic APIs. The platform is based on AWS (Amazon Web Services).

Any experience of MySQL would be great, as would prior experience of Mongo or Dynamo.

It would be highly beneficial if you are educated to degree level in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subject or highly similar area. This is only desirable however and we are keen to speak to engineers without this, but with strong Software Development experience.

In this role, there is extensive remote working available. This IS NOT a fully remote role, but the requirement to be in the office once / twice per month is very much on offer, if this is something that appeals to you.

What we are looking for:

An experienced Full Stack Software Developer / Software Engineer with a range of skills and experience.
Strong ReactJS and NodeJS experience.
Degree educated in a STEM subject (Desirable).
Ideally you will be degree educated, within a STEM subject.
Experience with any of the following will only strengthen your application; AWS, Next.js, MySQL, Lambda, Elasticsearch, Docker,
