Senior Service Advisor / Service Reception Manager

Salary: £36,000 per year

Motor Trade Senior Service Advisor / Service Reception Manager required for Car Dealership in Newbury

Monday-Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm + alternate Saturdays 8.00am-1.00pm

Salary up to £36,000+ bonuses (depending on experience & manufacturer accreditation)

Responsibilities:

Booking customer vehicles in for Service / MOT / Fault Finding via telephone and email;

Greeting customers into the Service Department, remaining their point of contact whilst the vehicle is in the workshop;

Liaising wtih Technicians and other departments in relation to the progress of the customers’ vehicle;

Provide updates to customers, advising on any additional work required;

Create customer invoices;

Provide advice on future vehicle maintenance.

Experience required:

Motor Trade experience in a Service Advisor or Reception Manager role is essential for this position – however if you are looking to begin your Motor Trade career then our Client may look at an entry-level Service Advisor role, the salary would be less to give room for progression with training. In this instance, you’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment, and be comfortable in a role combining customer service and upsell.
