Senior Security Consultant / Security Specialist – Earn up to £570 per day plus benefits (PAYE) or £615 per day (LTD)

Ensure that all related projects, third party services and existing systems -above an agreed threshold of risk criticality- are assessed for Information Security Risks and remediation actions are completed to an agreed timetable.
Establish and gain agreement for standard assessment methodologies and approaches to be used and ensure all assessments are consistent in their scope and the high quality by which they are performed.
Ensure that proposed security solutions are consistent with our client’s values and business goals, approved solutions, architectures and current threat models.
Negotiate risk management assessments and proposals with Project Directors, suppliers and operational Directors & VPs, and escalate any risks exceeding agreed limits.
Ensure that both pre-assessment triage’s and assessments are properly documented, agreed and reported into all necessary risk and compliance processes and registers. Providing reporting on trends.
Conduct risk & security assessments as required by the work programme leveraging the existing Risk Management Framework.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills:

Information Security knowledge around multiple domains e.g. Identity and Access Management, Network and Communications, Host and Application, and Monitoring
Risk Assessment and Risk Analysis leveraging industry standard framework CESG, IRAM, IREC etc.
Auditing and assurance experience
in complex M&A engagements
Additional preferred qualifications: Certification – CIISP, CISSM, PMP, Prince2.Desirable:
