Your new company
I am currently looking for a Senior Residential Care Worker for my client’s service based in Shrewsbury. This organisation is one of the areas leading providers of residential, fostering and educational care and support for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

Your new role
As a senior member of my clients residential care team in their Shrewsbury service you will be responsible for leading and motivating your staff to ensure the highest standards of care and support are made available to all of the young people living in the home.

What you’ll need to succeed
A QCF Level 3 Qualification – Children and Young Peoples workforce (or equivalent) is absolutely essential. As is the ability to drive. You will need to have had a minimum of 1 years relevant residential support experience in a similar setting. Flexibility on rota pattern and sleep ins and ability to communicate effectively is key.
