Senior Quantity Surveyor

West Midlands based contractor are looking for an individual to join their team to work on a 179 unit apartment and retail scheme that is a combination of private and housing association. As the lead surveyor for this project you will have total responsibility for managing this project from procurement, delivering within budget and to the highest quality to ensure clients expectations are met if not exceeded as well as making sure that the financial position of the project is accurate through to final handover.

Main core of duties and responsibilities will initally involve the supervision/control for the site based commercial team as well as subcontract management, remeasurement works including experience of high risk packages and trades, CVR’s, subcontractor payments and final accounts. This project is currently over 2 phases with negotiations for another 5 phases for development

Previous experience working on PRS, student accommodation or mixed retail/residential projects will be a distinct advantage

You will need to be fully computer literate with a proven track record of delivering full cost control on relevant projects
