Our client is looking for a Senior QC Analyst to join their team located in Cambridgeshire.
Applicants must have substantial proven experience as below.

JOB PURPOSE
The main function of a Senior Analyst is to perform the analytical testing of samples received in the QC Lab.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing the analysis of samples supplied to the QC Laboratory according to departmental methods (including batch release, stability and investigations) accurately and precisely
Operating laboratory equipment following standard operating procedure
Involvement, when required, in method validation or cleaning verification projects
Update and/or review departmental documentation (i.e. methods and procedures)
Having an input, and performing the work needed, to successfully complete laboratory investigations, CAPA’s and deviations
Troubleshooting issues with your analysis and /or instrumentation
Organisation of assigned work to ensure completion within required lead times
Flexibility to change priorities and ability to take on board other tasks as required by the QC Manager.
Interpreting and reporting of analytical data for batch disposition
Reporting of issues to the QC Manager if and when they arise
Working to required health and safety standards
Keeping up to date with technical departments especially those that may positively impact the QC Laboratory

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
of working to GMP in the Pharmaceuticals sector
Experienced in the testing of solid dose pharmaceutical products in a production environment (minimum 3 years)
Experienced in the use of HPLC, UV/visible spectrometry, dissolution testing, FTIR, TLC, physical testing of drug product
Experience in the use of laboratory computer systems (e.g. chromatography data systems, LIMS, etc.)
Experience of OOS/OOT investigations
Qualified to degree level (Chemistry or related subject)
