MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER

BRENTFORD

£90 000 – £100 000 PLUS PACKAGE

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager, ideally someone from a Tier 1 company background with solid experience as a Mechanical Project Manager for a permanent position based in Brentford working on a Film Studio project starting in quarter 2 next year. The Mechanical Project Manager will be No. 2 onsite working closely with No. 1 the Electrical Project Manager. MEP Value is £30m, with £15m Mechanical value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER

• The Mechanical Project Manager will lead the design and tender stages of project
• Provide Project Management duties on buildings and projects ensuring contract compliance, quality and financial control.
• You also make sure that the project is in compliance with all safety, labour, and regulations
• Coordinate activities
• Monitor and directing the completion of specific projects for an organization while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.

MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER SKILLS AND BACKGROUND 

• As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be mechanically qualified
• Have 8 – 10 Years relevant working experience as a Mechanical Project Manager – No 1 or No 2 on large projects with a mechanical value of £15 – £20m plus
• Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines.
• The Mechanical Project Manager will have strong interpersonal skills, to motivate and lead the project team.
• The ability to monitor and control budgets.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, to manage expectations.
