Our client, is an established and innovative architectural practice based in Gloucestershire, with expertise in Healthcare, Education, Housing and Community. They currently have an opportunity for a Senior Project Architect/Senior Architectural Technologist on a permanent basis.

Covering education, community and health sectors, you will be responsible for managing projects up to the value of £5m. You will be responsible for developing projects from feasibility and planning through to completion, as well as working closely with contractors and clients to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

* Overall responsibility for day-to-day management of projects
* Interpretation of brief’s and completion of site assessments
* Design, specification and delivery of working drawings
* Production information including products, equipment and suppliers
* Investigation of technical issues
* Project management including cost awareness/control
* Contract administration, H&S Legislation and Building Legislation
* Client liaison and communication with D&B Contractors

Skills/Experience:

* Good all-round technical knowledge
* Knowledge of education and healthcare projects
* Strong project management/job running skills
* Budgetary control experience at project level is highly advantageous
* Excellent time management and communication skills
* Strong knowledge of Vectorworks and ArchiCAD
