Senior Infrastructure Support Analyst – Bolton – £35k

Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / Active Directory / Hyper-V / Citrix / Microsoft Exchange / TCP/IP / VMware

My client urgently require an Infrastructure Support Analyst to work out of their busy offices based near Bolton. You will be responsible for providing a high level of service & to support and maintain the existing infrastructure as well as identifying & implementing new ideas.

Technically they are looking for someone with a good mix of technical skills to include,

* Windows Server 2008 / 2012 including Active Directory and Group Policy
* Exchange Server 2010 / 2013
* Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008 / 2012
* Strong Hyper-V / VMware experience
* Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop
* Strong storage experience – NetApp, EMC, SAN storage
* LAN and WAN networking including TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, VOIP, Firewalls, Routers, switches and structured cabling.
* Windows XP / Vista / 7
* Microsoft Office 2007 / 2010
* Backup knowledge Backup Exec / Net Backup / CommVault

They are looking for someone who is customer focused, with experience of providing advice and guidance to customers over the telephone, e-mail and Internet with a proven track record of service delivery as well as being an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with the ability of working within a demanding environment and be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving.
