Technical Sales Support

Objective
To provide support for the sale of a wide range of seals and gaskets and MRO products by our growing sales team. The role will offer opportunities to learn and develop within a long established family run business with the support of an international brand.

Duties
As the Technician based in our Leeds Head Office, you will deal with our entire product line including: seals, gaskets, packing, composite coatings and MRO products. You will be required to liaise closely with the internal support and external sales team. You will also support On-site service to a variety of industries including: Power, Pulp and Paper, Steel, Petrochemical and Water. Account manage existing clients within Yorkshire and the Midlands.

Requirements

Personal Specification
(Essential skills)
– Technical experience in seals, gaskets, packing, composite coatings or MRO products
– Ideally based near Leeds
– An engineering background.
– Self-motivated, methodical and accurate.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
– Ability to work on own initiative and also part of a team.
– Ability to work within strict timeframes.
– Full UK Driving Licence*
– Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK

Desirable Skills
– Technical qualification NVQ/HND / HNC would be advantageous
– Experience / knowledge of the fluid sealing or composite coating industry.
