Senior Hydro-Ecologist – London

My client, an international, market leading Environmental Consultancy which specialises in Water Quality, Ecology, Hydrology and Environmental Management, is searching for an Senior Hydro-Ecologist to join their Environmental Team based in Westminster, London.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a PhD, MSc and/or and BSc in Hydrology, Environmental Management or Environmental Science and 5 years+ experience working for a UK based Consultancy, Local Authority or Water Company completing Environmental Impact Assessments, Water Quality Assessments, Hydrological Assessments, Flood Risk Assessments and Habitat Surveys.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro or Hec-Ras.

This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of specialist Consultants to mentor team members and manage varied Environmental, Ecological, Hydrological, Flood Risk, Hydraulic Modelling and Water Quality Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.

As a Senior Hydro-Ecologist you will also be required to complete;
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Hydrological, Water Quality and Environmental Impact Assessments.
-Surface Water and Catchment Management Plans.
-Habitat Surveys and River Projects.
-Hydrological and Hydraulic analysis of sites.
-Project Management and Bid Proposals.
