Our client is a long established and respected creative branding agency, based in Surrey. They work on a wide variety of creative projects looking after some of the UK’s top brands. They now have a vacancy for a Senior Graphic Designer/Studio Manager to join the team.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for coming up with creative concepts, planning, management and implementation of print and digital design across multiple platforms. These platforms range from exhibition stands to responsive sites to print media. Working with the design team to a client brief, the role involves understanding the client and their needs before making design decisions. The role demands a natural creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time-management, budgets and deadlines. There will also be some need to manage tasks and liaise with clients via the management system Teamwork.
Duties and Responsibilities
To conceptualise text and visualise information.
To create effect design solutions.
Excellent knowledge in web design and development.
Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
To create accurate, print-ready artwork.
To work on own initiative, under direction and within a team, as appropriate.
Able to share opinions and contribute effectively to creative briefings and meetings.
To effectively manage more than one design brief simultaneously.
Commit to at least 1 hour per month online training (during office hours) to enhance relevant job skills.
and Attributes
Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Knowledge of User Experience, Wire-framing, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, WordPress and Mailchimp.
Effectively manage more than one design brief at a time. Good communication and organisational skills
