SENIOR ENGINEER
The SENIOR ENGINEER will need to work with the other SENIOR ENGINEER and OFFICE MANAGER to ensure the delivery of the companies obligations are met.
You should be:
– Qualified to BS7671 – 17th Edition.
– Qualified to C&G 2391 (2394/5 Electrical Testing)
– IT literate and be able to produce reports using electrical testing software EASYCERT
– Used to developing quotes and attending site to estimate to win more works.
– Self-motivated and be able to manage your own time and hit deadlines for the completion of reports/certificates.
– Charismatic and be able to help lead and train our young team of electricians.
– Neat and tidy and be polite as you will be in contact with our retail customer base.
The scope of the role will be Electrical Testing & Inspection (EICR). PAT Testing. Emergency Light Testing. Thermal Imaging Surveys of Distribution Boards and Panels (Training Given).
You will be expected to undertake remedial works so must have experience of installation works.
The role is Monday to Friday with very occasional weekend working.
Standard working week is 40 hours on the client sites
(Extra hours and normally paid off in lieu time in slack periods however overtime will be paid for additional remedial works.
Base salary is £42,000. Inclusion in company bonus pool
22 days holiday + Statutory.
This is a unique role to become 1 of 2 SENIOR ENGINEERS we have in the company. This person will need to have strong IT skills and be able to join the CEO in liaising with clients on a technical basis.
The role on average will be 8 days on site and 2 in the office.
You will need to be a QS and be able to sign off reports/certificates.
Very highly motivated and ambitious; you will need to be able to manage a changing and broad workload – with a smile.
The company is growing rapidly and this role (for the right person) will develop into DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR in 18 – 24 months.
The role has a nationwide remit so UK travel will be required.
A number of clients need inspections out of hours so there will be regular out of hours and overnight working.
