IT Senior Field Engineer – Managed Service Provider

A very exciting opportunity has recently arisen for a Senior IT Field Engineer, with experience in 2nd / 3rd line support in a Microsoft / Windows environment, to join a rapidly growing managed service provider based in Nottingham. You will be working with various technologies from Microsoft, including SBS (Small Business Server), Windows Server 2008 / 2012, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and Exchange. As the IT Senior Field Engineer you will be given full training within new and emerging technologies and you will have an excellent opportunity for self-development.

As the successful applicant you will be working to support, troubleshoot, install, migrate, administer technology and manage various projects within this market-leading organisation, and will be working with clients, over the please apply site, in order to provide crucial support to these various organisations within the East Midlands Area. You will provide a range of IT support including coverage of software, servers, infrastructure and networks. Skills required for the IT Support Engineer – (SBS / Windows Server) are:

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Small Business Server and Microsoft Windows Server * Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Offiice 365 * Strong skills in building, configuring, administering and supporting Windows Server (all versions from 2003 Server)?* Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and other networking services?* Experience in a 2nd / 3rd line Support environment (Client-facing skills are beneficial)
