Our client is a professional services network of independent accounting who provide assurance, tax and advisory services to their clients.

The Senior Energy Analyst plays a Pivotal role within the Cost Assurance department. This is a new and exciting independent Cost Assurance team working within the Energy sectors with c.100 years’ combined industry experience, identifying and analysing areas of billing inaccuracy on behalf of corporate and SME clients. We require an additional person to work within our Analysis Team. This will suit an experienced analyst who will embrace this challenge and spearhead the future growth and continued success of the Cost Assurance team.

Main Responsibilities
Management of the initial and on-going analysis, and business relationships for a defined number of clients
*Preparation and presentation of new reports and reviews to an appropriate standard
*Agreement and achievement of timescales for new reports and reviews
*Working well under pressure whilst working effectively within agreed timeframes
*Maintenance of working relationships within portfolio of clients and suppliers with regular communication of any developments back to the Head of Analysis
*Accurate submission of claims to suppliers followed through to completion
*Documentation of all recommendations to be maintained and updated on a regular basis
*Training and support provided to other members of the team when required
*Resolution of ad-hoc customer queries in a timely manner
*On-going research of suppliers and industry developments
*Innovative approach to analysis with ability to identify new claim opportunities

Experience/Education/Qualifications required:
Electricity, Gas & Water Analysis experience
*Proficient in all aspects of energy analysis requiring minimal supervision
*Exposure to all major suppliers and proven success in securing refunds and identifying on=going savings
*Proficiency in Access, Excel & Word
