Senior Design Manager

Salary: £96,000 – £102,000 per year

The Client

Our client is a busy and thriving Tier 1 contractor who is currently looking for an experienced MEP Senior Design Manager to join their team on a high value and prestigious project. This is a flexible role in terms of location however, you must be able to attend the office or do a site visit in the North Yorkshire area when required. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Management of MEP design production
• Technical evaluation in the tender phase
• Production and management of design programme
• Assist with the production of Scope of Works and works packages
• Ownership of review of design documentation for contract compliance
• Co-ordination and integration of the works of external designers
• Responsibile for the control and interrogation of external design consultants activities eg; fees, programme, compliance
• Overall driving of opportunites for MMoC and cost effective solutions in the design field

The Individual 

The company is looking for a candidate with a proven track record within MEP design management. You should have experience at working with a lead national or regional contractor within the fields of custodial, healthcare, education or science projects and with external MEP design teams. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Solid understanding of MEP systems
• Proven experience in a Senior MEP Design role

Salary and Package
