The Background
I am currently working with an independent, international consultancy that has a global reputation for delivering innovative building solutions to clients in a constantly evolving sector. Their office in Leeds are involved in a variety of exciting projects and as a result of this strong pipeline are looking to recruit an experienced Civil Engineer with a background in Infrastructure or Commercial Construction projects.

The Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer you will provide design services to the group on a range of projects which includes hotels, offices, residential buildings, infrastructure and highways. The responsibilities of the role include preparing technical schedules, undertake detailed civil design work, plan CAD documents for design work, ensure projects are completed within agreed timescales and budget and represent the company in meetings with clients and other relevant stakeholders. There is also scope for the right candidate to lead projects so any previous experience in doing so will stand you in good stead.

To be a successful Senior Structural Engineer you will have extensive experience in a similar civil / infrastructure design role with strong experience in drainage and earthworks design and previous experience working with contractors in a Built and Design role. You will ideally back up your experience with a Degree or Masters within a relevant engineering subject, or a HND with strong experience, and if you are Chartered or working towards Chartered status it would be beneficial.
