Role

Reporting into the Associate Director, as Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for delivering innovative and sustainable designs for projects within one or more industry sectors including Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, Hospitality, Industrial, Education, Healthcare and Defence.

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Electrical Engineer on electrical and multi-disciplinary projects.
• Coordinate electrical services designs with other building services disciplines and external teams including architects and structural engineers.
• Undertake project surveys including; site inspections, stock condition, refurbishment and post-occupancy performance evaluations. 
• Manage electrical building services engineering consultancy and design for large scale projects.
• Prepare high quality information including; technical specifications, designs, drawings, equipment schedules, survey reports, and contract documentation.
• Produce concept through to detailed design for building services engineering systems.
• Ensure all design projects and reports are technically compliant and to a consistently high standard.
• Supervise, coach, and develop junior staff members to optimise their potential.

Requirements

• A recognised Electrical or Building Services Engineering qualification to degree level.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing electrical building services engineering projects.
• Membership of a professional body (CIBSE or IET preferred) and committed to achieving Chartership.
• Experience with industry specific software such as AutoCAD, Etap, Amtech, Dialux, Relux, Revit etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels across multiple disciplines, as well as clients.
