SENIOR C++ DEVELOPER – JAVA, STL, MULTI-THREADING, DESIGN, LONDON

We are currently looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join their London office in a key, development role.

Key responsibilities of the position:

* To take responsibility for the on-going design, development and support of the OSS new framework, called the Universal Relay System
* To support and troubleshoot the operational URS.
* To organise and present design and code reviews for work undertaken
* To undertake development and support of other applications within the OSS group as needed
* To provide technical leadership to junior developers within the group
* To provide written and verbal progress reports within the OSS group

Essential skills

* Good Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computing Science or related technical discipline
* At least 3 years extensive C++ programming experience
* At least 1 years Java Programming experience
* Technical leadership qualities and ability to lead junior developers on both design and development activities
* knowledge of XML / JSON
* Experience of multithreaded programming on Windows and Linux platforms
* Knowledge of OO design and programming concepts
* Methodical approach to designing and testing software
* Programming using Microsoft developer studio C++
* Proven experience of programming in a Windows environment
* Experience with using STL and boost
* Experience of using a software configuration management tools
* Excellent organisational skills and communication skills
* Knowledge and experience of the complete software life cycle
