Salary: £26,000 – £39,780 per year
As a knowledgeable Senior Buyer with a background in new build housing, you will be required to take responsibility for:
Procuring a full range of building materials and plant hire
Ensuring materials are supplied to schedule and budget
Monitor supplier performance and prices
Negotiate terms and conditions
Mentoring and management other staff members
Site visits to monitor material orders and reporting
To maintain strong relationships with suppliers and supply chain, as well as developing new one’s
Develop product knowledge
Experience required:
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a proven track record in procuring a wide range of construction materials with the house building sector
Possess sound technical knowledge and strong commercial acumen
Previous House building experience
An eye for detail with strong communication, negotiation and rapport building skills
Have already worked or capable of working at a senior buyer level.
