Senior Accounts Payable

Salary: £33,600 – £36,000 per year

IN2 Consult – Senior Accounts Payable – Oxford – £33,600 – £36,000 per annum base – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote – Full-time, Permanent – End to end accounts payable, mentoring a junior AP specialist and involvement in finance implementations.

IN2 Consult are currently supporting a global market leading business with a excellent reputation globally. This business is currently looking for a Senior Accounts Payable specialist to join them on a permanent basis, offering a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days working remote. 

Key duties involved in this Senior Accounts Payable position:

• Overseeing the PO process and supporting the clinics with PO processes
• Matching to PO or manual Input of invoices, ensuring approved in accordance with correct authorisation limits
• Ensuring the invoice inboxes are emptied daily and all invoices processed for multiple group companies
• Ensuring payments made are promptly allocated
• Dealing with supplier and clinic queries
• Working to deadlines and assisting with month end tasks where necessary
• Maintenance of the master vendor records
• Reconciling monthly supplier statements promptly
• Assisting with weekly supplier payment runs and ad hoc payments
•  Process various month end postings and journals relating to accounts payable – accruals and prepayments
• Adhering to business processes and striving for continuous improvement
• Processing of staff expenses for two group companies
• Returned payment reconciliation
• Support stock accounting process
• Supporting cash flow forecast reporting
• Maintaining historical records by scanning, archiving and filing documents digitally

Key experience required for this Senior Accounts Payable experience 

• Minimum of 4 years Accounts Payable experience 
• Multi-entity or multi subsidiary or group or multisite experience
• working in a business that has undergone process implementations 
• Studying towards AAT or AAT qualified – Desirable
