Salary: £30 – £42 per hour

Are you a passionate and experienced Tutor or Teacher with a SEND background looking for a flexible and exciting new role?

Are you looking for a rewarding SEND Teaching role that would fit into your lifestyle?

We are currently looking for qualified Teachers / Tutors to work on a one-to-one basis with young people of all ages (reception – y11 and beyond) with a range of additional needs

If you can offer a minimum of 2 hours per day (during school hours) x 5 days per week this may be the perfect position to suit your current lifestyle or commitments. 4 days required minimum.

Salary £30 – £42per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

The students range from reception – Y11 including

Communication and interaction difficulties
Learning and Cognition
Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)
Autism
Complex needs
Disaffected students who require support and motivation in order to achieve.Skills and Knowledge

Do you have QTS or can demonstrate previous success in teaching young people with special educational needs?
Are you a graduate who has worked with young people with SEND and wants to pursue a career in teaching?
Do you have knowledge of PECS or Makaton?
Are you qualified to teach maths and English to functional skills level as a minimum?If you have continued to the end of this advert then you could be the person we are looking for!

It is beneficial to have your own transport as the students may live some distance apart, however this is not essential.

Our ‘refer a friend’ scheme offers £250 vouchers for each referral you makeYou will be subject to our stringent vetting process, including background checks and necessary qualifications. You must either be on the DBS Update Service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.

If you have been a UK resident for less than 5 years, a Right to Work visa must be provided and a criminal background check must also be provided for any country you have resided in for 6 months or more within the last 5 years.
