SEND Support Teaching Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

AK Teaching are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants who are looking for a new challenge in their career! We work regularly with a number of local Peterlee schools, supporting daily, weekly and long term positions.
Confidence in supporting pupils with ASD or ADHD would be desirable.
POSITION: EYFS/KS1/KS2 Teaching Assistant
PERSON: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or similar experience in Schools/Nurseries
SCHOOL: Partner Schools local to Peterlee
TRANSPORT: Multiple Public Transport Links – drivers preferred but willingness to use public transport is essential
START DATE: Showcase days ongoing
PAY: Paid a minimum of £26,000 per year, potentially rising dependent on the role and length of placement
ROLE: You will be given the very best support from AK Teaching, including opportunities for CPD including Team Teach. You will be required to support EYFS-KS2 pupils in a range of settings including 1:1 and group work.
