SEN Teaching Assistants Urgently

Special Educational Needs (SEN) support staff and TA’s required to work in Primary Schools across Exeter & Mid Devon

We are currently recruiting experienced support Staff and teaching assistants who have extensive primary special needs experience. Candidates are needed to work on a day to day supply basis to cover absences within various educational settings. Candidates need to have experience of working with children who have various complex needs e.g PMLD, SLD, MLD, ASD, and who are not fazed easily.

Candidates should….
• Be enthusiastic and show initiative towards the role
• Be involved within the classroom and to help out when needed
• Uphold classroom routines that are already stated and follow the staffs procedures
• Be able to adapt to the setting immediately regardless of the severity of the children’s needs

It would be desirable but not essential for candidates to be trained in Team Teach, Manual Handling, Child protection, Hygiene Awareness or any other relevant qualifications.
