SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

CERT Solutions are working in partnership with a special school in North Birmingham who are looking for two new teaching assistants to join their team in September 2021. The school have just had funding approved for two new students who will require 1:1 support, the school require someone who has worked in a special school previously who isn’t afraid of getting stuck in. Full time commitment is important especially when supporting students with Autism as they need consistency and routine so please only apply if you can offer this.

The two TA roles involve supporting a year 7 pupil and a year 9 pupil, both pupils have very little verbal communication and will use pictures such as PECs to support with their communication.

The ideal candidate will have an enhanced DBS already on the update service however, a new DBS can be submitted if required.
