TimePlan are working with an outstanding School in the Eastleigh area, catering to students with social and emotional difficulties. The school are actively looking for a Teaching Assistants to work 1:1 with a student that has social and emotional needs. Do you have experience working with vulnerable people? The school:

The school caters to boys and girls, aged between 7 and 16, that have difficulties with emotional, social and mental health. Some students also have complex needs often associated with autism spectrum conditions. Working hours are between 8:30pm and 3:30pm but a 2pm finish on Fridays. The staff are fantastic, welcoming, and very supportive.

The role:

We are seeking someone who has experience of supporting children or service users with additional needs and challenging behaviour to be able support a child on a 1:1 basis. This is full time, 8.30am to 4pm daily; Monday to Thursday and a 2pm finish on Fridays. This is on a long-term basis, but the school will consider a permanent contract for the right person! Day to day, you’ll be required to support the student with his set curriculum and assigned work, as well as managing behaviour.

All applicants will need to have had some experience working in an SEN environment with children or adults!
