Salary: £240 – £300 per day
Are you an experienced SEN Senior Case Officer looking for an exciting new opportunity in East Cheshire?
Spencer Clark Group are assisting a local authority to appoint an experienced SEND Senior Case Officer to join their Special Educational Needs Unit!
Our client strives towards creating a brighter future for their residents and community by providing high quality services and continually improving their delivery of commitments!
As a SEN Senior Case Officer you will work closely with multi agencies and be expected to adopt an outcome focused approach to undertake statutory assessment and effectively develop Education, Health and Care Plans for children and young people.
As a SEN Senior Case Officer you will be responsible for the following:
- Provide advice and support to parent and educational settings.
- Carry out meetings with children, young people, their parents and Carers to discuss issues relating to SEND support decisions.
- Attend muti-agency meetings.
- Analyse reports and information related to educational, medical, social care and psychological advise.
- Undertake statutory assessments.
- Develop and maintain EHCP.
To be a successful candidate for this role you must have the following:
- Graduate Level Qualification in a relevant field (Education, Social Work, Health Related etc.)
- Successful experience and partnership working with school staff and partner agencies.
- Experience working with SEND.
