Scenic Project Manager

Salary: £36,000 – £44,400 per year

The key objective for this role is to create efficiency within the Scenic team by leading the Scenic elements of projects and collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless, quality delivery of Scenic elements. You’ll be based in our London office, Bermondsey area, working with producers on a wide range of events and projects. If you have experience with scenic construction for events, exhibitions, or bespoke builds then this could be for you.

This role is office-based, 5 days per week.

You’re a collaborator and understand that effective communication is at the heart of every successful project

You have experience within a scenic build team within the events, film, exhibition, or theatre industry

You’re happy multi-tasking and having your fingers in multiple pies, being across several projects doesn’t faze you.

are passionate about sustainability. You are aware of what is going on in the wider world and you use that awareness to continually push for sustainable solutions to Scenic challenges.

You’re confident with Vectorworks/AutoCAD/SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite

You’re happy to share ideas for new initiatives and ways of working and equally happy to hear other people’s ideas.

It would also be great if you:

Have CNC production experience

Day-to-day tasks

Working with our production teams to translate design/concept ideas items for manufacture

Supporting the account managers with quoting and pricing for designs

Producing H&S documentation

Liaising with and organising equipment and crew logistics

Liaising with workshop and warehouse teams daily

Liaising with clients, venues, agencies, artists, and other production houses as required

Going onsite and managing and supporting installations

Creating graphics productions

Closely managing event budgets

Working closely with the Workshop teams throughout the manufacturing process

Liaising with our operations teams regarding on-site delivery and installation
