Sc Cleared Performance Tester

I am seeking an SC Cleared Performance Tester, the successful candidate will hold the following skill set,

Skill/Experience Required

Experienced in Loadrunner and at least one Loadrunner protocol
Experience in creating Loadrunner scripts using the Web Services protocol
Experience of integration of functional test tools, e.g. SoapUI, into Loadrunner
Knowledge and Experience of performance monitoring and performance metrics on
Windows/Unix/Linux

Experience with creating test materials to a recognised standard
Experience of QA reviewing test materials and in enforcing detailed standards
Technical background in development / testing essential
Familiarity with the application of automated systems to the support of specific business functions
Experience of defect tracking and issue resolution processes
Full awareness of the role of Performance and Software testing in the development lifecycle
Experienced in the use of other Performance Testing Tools (eg. Performance Centre, SoapUI,

JMeter, LoadUI) an advantage

Experienced in the use of Sitescope for collecting performance metrics an advantage
Networking experience an advantage

Main Responsibilities:

To gain a comprehensive understanding of the Application Under Test from the appropriateviewpoint.

To perform verification activities of deliverables from all phases of the project in accordance withthe Performance Test Plan.

Analyse project documentation and determine test requirements, system functions and otherfeatures that need to be tested.

Analyse project documentation to develop suitable test scenarios to meet requirements..
Develop test conditions, test cases and test scripts, in line with the agreed quality standards,
which test that the requirements have been met.

Execute test scripts in the manner specified by the appropriate Performance Test Plan.
Record test results against the expected results and retaining for future reference.
To find and raise important problems, in accordance with the Problem Management procedures,

and track through to satisfactory resolution.

Perform regression testing following problem fixing.
Utilise techniques and best practice, following the standard testing procedures and guidelines.
Report progress to the Performance Test Manager as required.
Liaise with other teams, external contacts as required.
Consider configuration management processes in support of testing processes·
Work together with the business in developing their test cases and the development team in

structuring / planning testing

Collect and analyse performance testing metrics during the testing stages
Apply testing techniques to plan and execute performance tests of all application components
Use software to enable the creation, population and manipulation of data structures.
