Sales Support / Customer Service

Ellisonpeole are recruiting for a Sales support / Customer service executive to be based in Nelson Lancashire. Our client requires a professional, proactive and enthusiastic individual as an addition to its sales division.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager your role will be to provide a high level of customer service and sales support to a wide ranging existing customer base, responding to sales enquiries in an efficient and professional manner, together with providing support to the field sales team by producing quotations, organising samples, and other sales related actions. The role will involve development of live, dormant and new customers. It is essential that you have experience of tele-sales, and/or customer service or field sales.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* proactively follow up leads

* Qualify and quantify opportunities, produce quotations and liaise with
business development manager as to follow up actions required.

* Book appointments for field sales force where appropriate.

* Process sales orders on SAGE accounts software.

* Liaise with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.

* Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure customer
information and sales activity is logged and updated.

* Liaise effectively with all departments to ensure
customer requirements are met.

* Provide cover for sales administration function during holidays

* Work as part of a proactive and professional team working to a clear
strategy and financial target.
