SALES REPRESENTATIVE (PLANT HIRE)

We have an excellent opportunity working for one of our clients who require a bright, motivated, and confident Sales Representative to gain invaluable skills working within an exciting construction plant/rental organisation. Our client specialises in the hire of equipment to many sectors, and they have positioned themselves at the forefront of the industry in terms of equipment capability. They offer a highly innovative and unrivalled corporate experience to their customers and aim for continuous expansion across the marketplace.

The client is looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual to manage the sales and marketing of their hire equipment range in the Glasgow/Edinburgh area. The role itself will involve generating new business and selling the client’s products via business development, marketing, and client meetings. You will be a pivotal part of the growth of the company regionally, so motivation and drive is necessary to gain any success. The majority of your week will be working independently and to your own timescales, so organisation, professionalism and honesty are key requirements. It is essential for any potential candidates to have good knowledge of the construction hire/rental industry in and around the different geographical areas. You will need to have excellent persuasive skills, be mobile, commercially aware and confident in selling a broad range of plant hire equipment as well as the hire of powered access solutions.

In Return our client is offering a salary of £34,800 DOE a company car and generous bonus scheme.
25 days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities of the Sales Representative
Adhere to company procedures and achieve deadlines
Work closely with the branch
Understand customer requirements
Demonstrate products and their benefits
End user sales within the allotted territory
Work independently selling client’s products
Process orders effectively
Good persuasive skills selling a broad range of equipment

Requirements of the Sales Representative
Excellent communication both written and verbal
Ability to work to deadlines
PC literate
Confident with good persuasive skills
Driving licence

The ideal candidate will be located in either of the following areas; Glasgow, Motherwell, Wishaw, East Kilbride, Stonehouse, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Livingston, Armsdale, Stirling, Livingston,
and surrounding areas.
