Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is comfortable with customer service and office administration.
Necessary Skills & Experience:
- Fond of animals!
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good general education, including GCSE’s (or equivalent)
- Strong prioritisation and time management skills
- Experience in and always striving to offer the best customer service
- Competent with ICT and keen to learn and develop new systems
About the role
Salary: £19,000 – £24,000 depending upon experience
Job Type: Permanent Full Time
Proposed Hours: 09:00-17:30 Monday to Friday
Location: Office based – Haywards Heath, West Sussex
An exciting opportunity for an individual to grow, expand and develop with a leading pet insurance provider as we launch and develop our brands across the UK and Europe. A varied role including sales, customer service and administration.
The role will include:
- Answering inbound enquiries regarding insurance and proactively upgrade and convert to an insurance policy
- Pro-actively following up insurance enquiries to convert to an insurance policy
- Answering and resolving customer queries and demonstrate ownership of the task
- Ensuring customer satisfaction is exceeded
- Producing high-quality documentation and maintaining records on company systems
- Following up and converting free insurance offered by company’s partners – microchippers, breeders, vets and charities
- General administration
- Identifying trends and areas for improvement with a solution-based attitude
- Ensuring company and regulatory policies are complied with
- Undertaking regular learning and development in line with company and FCA requirements
