Customer Service Representative

Salary: £26,000 – £27,600 per year

Due to the continued growth of our client’s business, they are looking to recruit sales and customer orientated individuals to join their thriving surveying services team based in Castle Donington.

About the role

This is much more than just a numbers game as you will demonstrate your passion for customer service as well as your outstanding sales skills. You’ll be expected to build and maintain relationships with customers and ideally, you’ll have previous experience in managing your own pipeline of business. You’ll also be an integral part of our award-winning team, motivating those around you to achieve results.

You will be responsible for contacting both new and existing customers to discuss the benefits of having a home buyers report. You will guide and support your customer, helping them to make informed decisions regarding which Home Survey would suit their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Informing customers regarding products or services
• Adhering to policy by following scripts to ensure compliance.
• Answering any questions customers may have regarding our products or the company whilst asking open and probing questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.
• Process sales in an accurate manner
• Ability to go the extra mile to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.
• Accurately keep records of calls and sales
• Delivering key KPIs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure targets are met.
• Ensure customer service levels are maintained through monitoring and reviews.
• Ability to deal with escalations and maintain low escalations.

Experience & skills

• Previous experience within customer service essential
• Experience within telephony sales is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota.
• Experience in results driven environment.
• IT literature and competent user of Microsoft packages
• Excellent time management and organisation skills

The Package

• Salary: £26,000 – £27,600per year DOE
• OTE of up to £26,000 – £27,600 per year
• 20 days holiday with increases on length of service plus Bank Holidays and a discretionary day for your birthday
