Sales Representative – Microbiology Kits

An excellent opportunity for a BSc science graduate (life sciences or chemistry) with some post degree commercial experience, either gained in a laboratory environment or in sales (ideally B2B or B2C in a call centre/telemarketing environment) who is looking to use their experience in a scientific sales role.

You would be working partly field-based and partly from the company’s Head Office in the North-West.
Products include their food testing kits, sold to academic, research and food & beverage laboratories.

Responsibilities include:
– Planning and forecasting sales, building good customer contacts in the sector.
– Market research and competitor analysis
– Managing existing business and also finding new business opportunities. This will be achieved from working in the office and also through customer visits.
– Attendance at Exhibitions, Seminars, Workshops and Conferences.
