Contract Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities of Position:

Lead, coordinate, undertake and develop the sales and operations planning function for the Motor Drives Business at Hemel Hempstead. This will include the oversight of goods in / out and kitting functions. This position will be responsible and accountable for the coordination and setting of all customer requirements in the Master Production Schedule. This will involve direct customer liaison. The role holder will conduct order acceptance processes and develop / adopt a suitable SIOP process to ensure a collaborative, inclusive and robust order review process. The role holder will have close links to Programmes, Operations & Supply Chain to ensure customer satisfaction is met with optimal inventory levels and systems.

Principle Accountabilities:
·As the primary customer point of contact, ensure that customer orders are translated through the S&OP process into an achievable Master Production Schedule that will produce optimum delivery performance and inventory goals.
·Monitor and communicate fluctuations in customer demand and measure the impact against capacity constraints and inventory requirements.
·Manage engineering hardware demands and the process of spares loading both at LRU and piece part level.
·Provide data input to the planning of sales budgets and capacity reviews.
·Manage cycle counting process.
·Manage the MFA assessments, communicate customer feedback and develop and track improvement initiatives.
·Work with the Platform Leaders to ensure MPS adherence is achieved and that works orders are released to lead time.
·Monitor and report OTIF and review improvement opportunities with the operations teams.
·Maintain daily communication with Operations Managers and PL’s in order to schedule and assist in problem resolution.
·Order Loading, Shipping & Invoicing
·Oversight of goods in / out and kitting function including prioritising work activity

Knowledge and Experience:
·Proven experience of customer liaison.
·Proven experience with MRP and Master Production Schedules.
·Previous management of supplier schedules operational procurement.
·Excellent knowledge of Aerovantix, SAP and normal business software packages at a working level
·Wide industry knowledge an advantage.
·Experience in S&OP
