Sales Office Clerk

Our client is an Import/Export company in Exeter, UK. The successful candidate will be dealing with enquires and interpreting what has been received from overseas clients. You will also be responsible in dealing with enquiries right the way through to quotations to customers on a worldwide basis. Our client is looking for someone to be self motivated and take pride in their work that they are producing and take ownership for what you do. You will need to be able to prioritise your work based on the based on the requirement of the customer and also taking into account the time zone that you are dealing with.
Essentially you will be Drawing up quotation requests from customers and sending them to different suppliers around the world to ascertain who would be able to fulfill the quote in a timely manner. Dealing with customer queries from clients all over the world. Telephoning suppliers to chase and clarify points on quotes. Drawing up of quotes in different currencies.

As you will be dealing with customers all over the world you will need to have an understanding of time zones and think on your feet. You will also need an excellent telephone manner as you will be dealing with customers and therefore will need to have excellent communication skills both spoken and written.

Hours – 9-5:30. Regular breaks, Free Parking on site, and free tea and coffee!
