Due to continued success, our Staffordshire based manufacturing client is looking to recruit 2 experienced International Sales Managers to cover a wide range of global territories (see above) Although our client is based in North Staffordshire, successful applicants can work from home in combination with significant UK and international travel.

The International Sales Managers will be responsible for the strategic development of key accounts within the organisation. The key duties will be as follows:

• The development of new and existing business within allocated territories
• Identifying routes to markets and customer requirements
• Developing and maintaining customer databases, contact management systems and collating market intelligence
• Liaising with internal partners to introduce new products/services to promote positive customer experiences
• Updating all relevant sales leads into the internal sales software database
• Achieving sales and operating income targets as defined by the VP of Sales
• Monitoring customer satisfaction and resolving any outstanding actions in a timely manner
• Organising and attending industry networking events, seminars and trade shows
• Working closely with the Global Sales team to develop sales strategies and ensure that products and services remain competitive at all times

The ideal candidate for the above roles must have a proven ability to exceed sales targets in a field based sales and key account management role, together with an innovative and entrepreneurial approach to business development. Applications from candidates with sales experience within the safety, industrial hygiene, oil, gas and marine industries would be considered preferable but not essential. The ability to speak a European Language would also be an advantage.

Applicants must possess a British / EU passport and a clean driving licence as travel will be an essential part of the role.
