Sales Executive

Salary: £39,600 per year

We are recruiting for a South West basedSales Executive on behalf of one of the UK’s leading playground design and installation companies that targets and works closely with Schools, Nurseries and Councils across the UK to help them create playgrounds, outdoor classrooms, multi-use games areas etc.,

All designs are tailored to the customers individual requirements and as the Area Sales Manager you will be meeting with a variety of potential customers, understanding their needs and requirements, briefing these into the design team who will produce a well thought out and engaging plan for the required area for you to present.

As the Sales Executive you will:

• Further develop your network of customers within the education, local authority and other potential areas within the South West. This will include following up on incoming enquiries, lead generation campaigns led by the marketing team and the results of your own business development.
• Visiting potential customers to understand their needs, which will include measuring the area, taking photographs, proposing design ideas to meet their budgets, briefing this to the design & estimating teams and then presenting the product design and costings to the customer with the aim of winning the contract to both supply and install the equipment.
• Ensure that everything is recorded on the CRM system to ensure all prospective business opportunities are recorded and tracked through to completion.
• Attend monthly sales meetings with the wider team sharing information from your area with your colleagues to promote wider business awareness.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need:

• Proven sales and business development experience, if you have industry knowledge that would be preferable but is not essential.
• To be a quick learner, a confident communicator with a positive and proactive approach to your work.
• High attention to detail skills along with excellent planning and organisational skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Enjoy working from and being set up for a home office base and happy to travel to meetings across the South West.
