Rota Handler

Salary: £26,000 per year

A local and well established healthcare provider are looking for a Rota Handler to manage all of the care hours across their Supported Living services that supports and promotes adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental health. This company are a family run organisation and first developed 70 years ago. They are in need of a Rota Handler who has experience in HR, managing Budgets as well as understands the importance of rota management within health and social care.

Rota Handler Responsibilities:

To manage all aspects of the services rota and ensuring that all day to day operations are run effectively and efficiently.

To manage supported living service hours and staff locations in accordance with the company’s aims and objectives, policies and procedures

To work closely with Managers in coordinating all supported living services

To ensure that all individuals’ information is recorded accurately and promptly

To monitor all support packages and ensure that support hours are allocated on a weekly basis

To report all refused support, agency hours / cost and staff hours on a weekly basis.

Support the manager to maintain budgets.

Rota Handler Requirements:

Coordination in Health and Social Care: 1 year

To have responsibility for the smooth running of shifts via the rotas whilst ensuring service user needs, choices, dignity etc are put first.

Clear communication skills

Willing to undertake mandatory and appropriate training

Ability to read and understand policy documents

Basic numeracy skills

Level 3 diploma in Health & Social Care or working towards

Computer literate
