RGN – Nursing Care Home

Registered General Nurse – The Company:
We are currently seeking a Registered General Nurse for day and night shifts to join a well established and dedicated Nursing Care Home.

This residential home pride themselves on the flexibility of their service along with the very high standard of residential care they provide within a clean and secure environment.

Registered General Nurse – The Role:
– Providing appropriate nursing care of a high standard to all residents
– Being responsible for the running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager
– Leading and motivating the care team
– Ensuring the residents rights to privacy, dignity, choice, autonomy and safety is promoted at all times
– Communicating effectively with residents, families, friend and outside parties
– Ensuring that all medications including controlled drugs are ordered, stored, administered and disposed of correctly
– Ensuing all paper work, care plans and administration is up to date and correctly completed

Registered General Nurse – The Candidate:
– A Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) qualification or an NVQ in Health and Social Care
– Current registration with the NMC (if nurse qualified) and a legal right to work in the UK
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ideally experience in a Nursing or Residential Home environment
